The Georgia Construction Aggregate Association (GCAA) Management Workshop & Expo in late February was once again well-attended, as 773 people were on hand at the Cobb Galleria in Atlanta. Attendance was up 3.5 percent from the 2025 workshop, with 87 exhibitors participating. Twenty-one percent of GCAA’s exhibitors participated for the first time. Among the exhibiting companies was PPI (Precision Pulley & Idler), which was represented by sales manager Bryan Holland (left) and eastern division manager Dan Goodyk.

MINExchange, the SME Annual Conference & Expo, took place the same week as the GCAA event, albeit at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City. McLanahan Corp. utilized MINExchange to demonstrate its Quickchange system that streamlines filter cloth replacement and filter plate inspection. Cory Jenson, executive vice president of sales and business development (pictured), detailed how McLanahan engineered the system for speed, simplicity and safety, noting how the Quickchange technology cuts downtime and boosts operational efficiency. Says Jenson: “Most systems would take five to 20 minutes to change a filter cloth. With Quickchange, we came up with a way where you don’t have to get inside the enclosed space, and you don’t have to get on top of the machine.”
