Premier Aggregates Holdings, an independent supplier of construction aggregates and landscape rock throughout southern Idaho, named John Todd as CEO.
To facilitate Todd’s hire, CEO Lane Buchert and COO Evan Buchert will now serve as advisors to Todd through the end of 2026. Both Bucherts will serve as members of Premier’s board of directors and ownership group.
“When I founded Premier in 2011, I could not have imagined the growth the company would achieve,” says Lane Buchert, founder of Premier. “Serving as CEO alongside our team has been a privilege, and I am proud of what we have built together. With Premier well-positioned for its next phase of growth, this is the right time for a planned leadership transition. John brings the experience, leadership and alignment with our core values needed to lead the company forward.”
Todd has more than three decades of experience in construction aggregates and mineral processing. He served as president of Arcosa Specialty Materials over the last five years.
Prior to Arcosa, Todd served as vice president of operations at ACG Materials, which Arcosa acquired in 2018. He began his career as a process engineer at Holcim, where he held a range of senior operational and leadership roles across 25 years – including vice president of manufacturing for the Western U.S.

Premier Aggregates Holdings formed in 2024 when Premier Aggregates and Ada Sand & Gravel merged.
