Scott Young, head of sales for the North American region at Volvo Construction Equipment, was named the chair of ConExpo-Con/Agg 2029.
Young has been in his position with Volvo CE since September 2023 and has more than 25 years of experience in the construction equipment industry. He has also served on boards and committees of the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM), which owns ConExpo-Con/Agg.
“I’m honored to work with AEM in this role as our industry undergoes a historic transformation,” Young says. “ConExpo-Con/Agg is one of the world’s largest platforms to showcase innovations that help our customers navigate change, overcome challenges and improve performance. We’ll build on this year’s success and look ahead to 2029.”
ConExpo-Con/Agg show director Dana Wuesthoff is equally excited to have Young as chair for the 2029 show.
“The 2026 show set new benchmarks for innovation, engagement and industry collaboration,” Wuesthoff says. “We are thrilled to welcome Scott Young as chair for 2029.
