Case Construction Equipment: SiteWatch
SiteWatch from Case Construction Equipment provides users information to help them manage fleets and optimize machine performance. Using a control module that integrates with the machine, SiteWatch sends real-time data to a user's web portal, which is accessible from nearly anywhere in the world. An intuitive interface allows customers and dealers to review and analyze up to 18 months worth of information. According to Case, SiteWatch keeps users and their dealers informed with performance metrics, idle-time analytics, scheduled maintenance intervals, machine health reporting and programmable security alerts. Also, rather than spend time calling operators to get machine hours, SiteWatch keeps track of machine usage and run time on a daily or monthly basis. www.casece.com Photo: Case Construction Equipment Keep Reading

Paladin Attachments: JRB multi-pickup coupler
The JRB multi-pickup coupler from Paladin Attachments was designed to pick up and work with attachments such as the JRB 416, JRB ISO, John Deere 416, John Deere Hi-Viz, Volvo, JCB and other ISO attachments in front end wheel loader applications. Paladin says the design provides quick coupling capabilities that allow users to safely switch attachments in the shortest amount of time. For versatility, the coupler utilizes a two-cylinder design that accommodates any number of quick-hitch-style attachments. Operators can switch from a bucket to a boom, forklift, broom or other attachment in seconds, without leaving the cab or requiring the assistance of additional personnel. www.paladinattachments.com Photo: Paladin Attachments Keep Reading
Terex Washing Systems: Dual Power control system
Terex Washing Systems' (TWS) Dual Power control system is available on all versions of its M-Range wash plant. The Terex Dual Power system consists of both diesel-hydraulic and electrical-hydraulic power drives. This allows the customer to start, transport and operate the machine using the standard diesel engine. Once in position, and if a suitable electrical power source is available, the machine can be plugged into the electricity supply and the machine will operate using the electrical-hydraulic power drive – utilizing a much more efficient system and resulting in significantly reduced running costs, TWS says. If the plant needs to be moved, the customer can unplug, start the engine and move the machine to the desired location. www.terex.com Photo: Terex Keep Reading
Powerscreen: XA750
The Powerscreen XA750 jaw crusher is fitted with a hydraulically driven pan feeder and live pre-screening unit, complete with a bolt-in cartridge-style grizzly section to remove fines and sizes prior to crushing. The design helps avoid packing and unnecessary manganese wear. Pre-screened material can be stockpiled via an optional dirt conveyor, or re-directed via the bypass chute onto the main product conveyor. An unrestricted 55-in. x 32-in. feed opening prevents bridging and maintains a consistent feed to the XA750, which features a hydraulic-assist closed-side setting adjustment system that can be changed at the touch of a button for product sizing control. A 288-kilowatt diesel engine that uses a direct drive system powers the unit. Engine power is transmitted to the crusher via a self-adjusting, dry plate clutch. www.powerscreen.com Photo: Powerscreen Keep Reading
Philippi-Hagenbuch: HiVol Series
Philippi-Hagenbuch’s line of HiVol water tanks are designed to optimize capacity and enhance travel safety. Built for any make or model of off-highway truck, the HiVol Series offers solutions related to dust suppression, fire protection, road construction and wash down. According to Philippi-Hagenbuch, it calculated the dynamic center of gravity of the fluid within the tank to engineer the HiVol Series with the lowest weight and greatest carrying capacity. This capacity can range up to 60,000 gallons. To ensure maximum safety, a fluid baffling system not only stops water surges from the back to front, but also provides a full-height, full-length, full-center structure that eliminates surging from side to side. Each tank features a series of compartments to eliminate any occurrence of surging, providing maximum stability at all normal haul speeds. www.philsystems.com Photo: Phil Systems Keep Reading
Martin Engineering: Vibrator designs
Martin Engineering is offering custom-engineered vibration technology for manufacturers of shakers, separators, wash plants and other process equipment that uses vibration as a working force. By adding the new capability to its extensive lineup of stock vibrators, Martin Engineering says it is opening up a range of possibilities for equipment designers who have traditionally been forced to engineer their products around existing vibrator models. Martin Engineering will offer an extensive range of designs and features for specific applications, including explosion-proof models, vertical shaft units, flange-mounted designs and low-profile vibrators that can be incorporated as part of a support structure. www.martin-eng.com Photo: Martin Engineering Keep Reading
Rain for Rent: MobyDick Conline
MobyDick Conline wheel wash systems remove dirt, mud and debris from up to 300 trucks daily in a variety of settings. According to Rain for Rent, the systems are easy to install, fully automated and adaptable to varying terrain. They're also cost-effective alternatives to street sweepers and pressure washers because of their advanced spray technology, optimized truck throughput and water-recycling module. In some cases, regulators require a Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan to minimize erosion and runoff of pollutants on a jobsite. The Conline wheel wash system can be an important component of this plan, says Rain for Rent. www.rainforrent.com Photo: Rain for Rent Keep Reading
Caterpillar: 988K
The seventh-generation 988K wheel loader features redesigned loader linkage, worldwide engine configurations, drivetrain modifications, a redesigned cab and enhancements in safety and serviceability, according to Caterpillar. The Cat C18 ACERT engine powers the 988K. The loader is available as a Tier 4 Final version or as a Tier 2 version. Cat says electronic fuel control ensures optimum performance and throttle response, delivering up to 20 percent greater fuel efficiency compared with the 988H. Additional fuel savings accrue with the 988K Eco Mode, engine-idle shutdown system and engine-idle auto-resume system. An optimized Z-bar loader linkage replaces the 988H mono-boom design and expands the 988K's versatility in small quarries and underground applications, the company says. The new design, using solid steel lift arms in either a standard or high-lift configuration, reduces machine height at maximum lift yet increases dump clearance. www.caterpillar.com Photo: Caterpillar Keep Reading
