Polydeck expanded its Metaldex XPT offerings, building on the product’s reintroduction to the aggregate market in 2025.
According to Polydeck, Metaldex XPT is designed to combine the throughput of traditional wire cloth with the handling of modular media.
“Aggregate operations constantly balance throughput, wear and maintenance demands,” says Shane Gee, director of aggregate at Polydeck. “Metaldex XPT addresses those challenges by delivering the screening efficiency producers expect from wire while giving them a modular panel that is easier to manage during maintenance.”
Polydeck manufactures Metaldex XPT panels in-house, strengthening its ability to respond quickly to customer needs while expanding available configurations and aperture options, the company says. The company introduced additional aperture concepts and says it will continue to utilize customer feedback to help guide future development of the product line.
“Manufacturing Metaldex XPT in-house demonstrates our continued commitment to providing the solutions our customers rely on,” says Ron Kuehl, president of Polydeck. “It gives our team greater control over how we develop and support the product while allowing us to incorporate what our customers truly need as we expand the line.”
Metaldex XPT is engineered for dry sizing, coarse sizing and heavily loaded screening environments where operations require high throughput without sacrificing serviceability, according to Polydeck. The modular welded wire panels feature abrasion-resistant wire encased in polyurethane and are available in a 1-ft. x 2-ft. format with multiple panel thickness options and wire orientations designed to support different screening conditions.
