Powered by a 6-hp Subaru EX17 overhead-cam engine, the 2-in. PKX201H high-pressure pump offers a lift height of up to 275 ft. and a maximum delivery volume of 127 gpm. A hardened, cast-iron volute effectively withstands suspended particles and small solids sucked through the strainer, while an abrasion-resistant, cast-iron three-blade impeller and a replaceable wear plate ensure long life and low maintenance. Atlas Copco: XD pedestal boom
Atlas Copco’s new series of extreme duty (XD) pedestal boom systems are specifically designed for secondary rock breaking in grizzly stations in underground mines, and gyratory crushers in open pits. Key components include the pedestal boom’s flexi-base, slew mechanism, cylinders and pin-locking system. There are five systems in the series, offering a horizontal reach from 8.8 to 30 ft. and the ability to handle breakers weighing between 440 and 4,850 lbs. The Terex Simplicity TXW616T from Terex MPS is a compact, highly portable screening and washing unit that has big plant features and production. The plant features a 6-ft. x 16-ft. triple-deck quarry-duty inclined screen for high production. The plant also incorporates twin 36-in. x 25-ft. dewatering screws for maximizing screen capacity. An I-beam main frame with two manual landing jacks and four cribbing legs allow for stable operation and easy mobility. Walkways around three sides allow convenient access to the screen. Water manifold and splash style spray bars with individual control valves allow water amounts to be adjusted for various applications. Michelin: XTXL E4 tire
The Michelin XTXL E4 tire is designed for underground transport machines. Protection ribs reinforce the sidewall, increasing shock and abrasion resistance. Wide channels and grooves provide traction and grip on angled surfaces and loose ground conditions. The tire's sculpted shoulder blocks serve as a cooling system, reducing thermal buildup, and a cooling undertread layer reduces thermal buildup under the solid center tread. According to Michelin, XTXL E4 tires are more than 20 percent more puncture-resistant because of their reinforced steel crown belt package. Contitech: Conti Secur Premium adhesive
The Conti Secur Premium adhesive from Contitech can be used for a variety of cold bondings on conveyor belts. The adhesive is ready for immediate use because it has a single component instead of the usual two. Based on polychloroprene, the adhesive offers advantages in metering, as well as in application and handling, according to Contitech. Every drop of Conti Secur Premium can be used without the adhesive vulcanizing in the container within a short period of time. It can be used in a range of applications, including rubber-to-rubber bonds and rubber-to-metal bondings, as well as for cold splicing of fabric ply belts. Wirtgen America Inc.: 2200 SM
The Wirtgen 2200 SM, the company's small surface miner for most types of rock, has an operating weight of 53 short tons and can achieve a cutting depth of 12 in. over a width of 7.3 ft. in short to medium-hard rock. The 2200 SM cuts rock with a mechanically driven cutting drum and two-stage front-loading conveyor, with slewing capability and variable discharge height. The machine is driven by a Caterpillar diesel engine with an output of 950 hp. It maneuvers on four large crawler tracks and hydraulic four-track steering. Cut material is loaded to the front of the machine via a large conveyor system consisting of primary and discharge conveyors. The external skirtboard and wear liners are mounted on the outside of the conveyor skirtboard, allowing for ease of inspection and liner replacement when required. Among the benefits of the skirtboard and liners are improved sealing, as the skirtboard and liners maintain a correct distance from the conveyor belt to keep dust and fugitive material from escaping the load zone area. An adjustable bolt-on system allows for adjustment ease and safe removal without having to enter the internal area of the load zone. Producers have the option of having the skirtboard and wear liners manufactured from mild steel, AR 400 or 500 abrasion-resistant plates or stainless steel.
