ASGCO's external skirtboard and wear liners are designed to protect the conveyor skirtboards and sealing system. The external skirtboard and wear liners are mounted on the outside of the conveyor skirtboard, allowing for ease of inspection and liner replacement when required. Among the benefits of the skirtboard and liners are improved sealing, as the skirtboard and liners maintain a correct distance from the conveyor belt to keep dust and fugitive material from escaping the load zone area. An adjustable bolt-on system allows for adjustment ease and safe removal without having to enter the internal area of the load zone. Producers have the option of having the skirtboard and wear liners manufactured from mild steel, AR 400 or 500 abrasion-resistant plates or stainless steel. Mack Trucks launched new interior upgrades to its Mack Granite and Titan models. The upgrades, designed to enhance driver comfort and productivity, offer drivers a more ergonomic environment in which to work. The new interior enhancements include an optional center storage console that features interior lighting and a 12-volt power supply. Other enhancements include improved functionality of the PowerLeash+ engine brake controls, standard on all models, enabling the driver to set and maintain a target downhill braking engagement speed, in or out of cruise control. The UsFlexconveyor belting has longitudinal rip resistance whose rating, according to the company, is more than three times more effective than those of multiple ply belts because of a unique straight-warp construction. Fenner Dunlop says the conveyor beltingprovides more than twice the impact resistance of conventional plied belting. The added toughness means the belt will not be easily damaged in the loading and conveying of large, sharp material. John Deere: 460E ADT
The John Deere 460E ADT joins the 370E and 410E as part of the company's E-Series. The 460E, a 46-ton model, is now John Deere’s largest articulated dump truck ever to hit the market. Designed and built in Davenport, Iowa, the E-Series ADTs feature a John Deere PowerTech 13.5L IT4 engine with three power levels based on the model – 422 net hp (370E), 443 net hp (410E), and 481 net hp (460E). A purpose-built ZF transmission includes a high-capacity retarder, eight forward gears and four reverse gears.
