Stedman: Mega-Slam models
Designed to increase profits by maximizing production, the Mega-Slam Primary Horizontal Shaft Impactor (HSI) handles feed sizes beyond the range of conventional secondary impactors, according to the manufacturer. Stedman builds five Mega-Slam models that produce a cubical product — and in some crushing operations, will eliminate the need for primary reduction equipment. Capacities range from 100 to 1,200 tph. The Mega-Slam models feature a positive breaker bar holding device with buried wedges to minimize wear, as well as breaker bar installation, removal and indexing time. The solid rotor weldment is stress-relieved, balanced and ultrasonic-tested. Other features include reversible manganese monoblock aprons and interchangeable side liners.
