KPI-JCI: SuperStacker Plus
The SuperStacker Plus telescoping stacker is designed to minimize stockpile segregate and increase stockpile capacity. The model features an updated, more-user-friendly Wizard Touch automation control system, which allows for more stockpiling options and produces a higher-quality product, according to KPI-JCI. The automation system comes with factory pre-set programming and provides the versatility of customizing in the field. The SuperStacker includes a standard cam-arm linkage that connects the rear undercarriage to the conveyor frame. This maintains a constant radius from the pivot plate to the axle, ensuring radial movement and uninterrupted stockpiling. www.kpijci.com Photo: KPIJCI Keep Reading
Caterpillar: E Series hammer line
Caterpillar has added three new models to the E Series hammer line in the H140E, H160E and H180E. These match up with Cat excavators ranging from the 324E to the 374D L. Cat E Series hammers feature a rugged design for extended durability and solid reliability, the company says. The hammers are designed to be field serviceable with common hand tools to keep them operating at peak performance. They feature a new symmetrical housing design, which allows rotating the housing 180 degrees to compensate for wear. The lower portion incorporates rock edges that add protection to the housing and enable quick positioning of boulders. An optional wear package is available to further enhance hammer durability in severe applications. www.cat.com Keep Reading
Masaba: Jaw crusher
Masaba's new portable jaw plant features a vibrating grizzly feeder that hydraulically lifts off the chassis, which will be pulled from underneath the feeder. The vibrating grizzly feeder hydraulically lowers onto another chassis for transport, eliminating the need for a crane to move the unit. Chassis come with a 54-in. under-crusher conveyor with hydraulic head fold. In addition, Masaba offers standard and customized portable plants; single- and dual-screen plants; wash plants with standard and rollaway cross conveyors; and an assortment of crushers. www.masabainc.com Keep Reading
Dust Control Technology: DB-100
The DB-100, engineered specifically to deliver power to reach the working face of an open cast mine or large quarry, has a range of more than 100 meters, giving it ample reach to cover material stockpiles 200 to 300 ft. high. The giant atomized misting unit from Dust Control Technology stands nearly 10 ft. tall and can cover an area of 280,000 sq. ft. from a single location, according to the company. The DB-100 delivers both power and dependability by using a straightforward, direct-drive fan motor. It requires lubrication of fan motor bearings every 10,000 hours. A manifold of 30 brass nozzles that are specifically sized and positioned for the new design feeds the machine’s 60-hp fan. Also, the DB-100 features 359-degree oscillation, along with adjustable elevation. www.dustboss.com Keep Reading
Cooper Roller Bearings: 01E and 02E bearings
According to Cooper Roller Bearings, it has increased the load capacities of many of its split roller bearings to levels higher than any split roller bearings of similar size, with L10 life that is 23 to 135 percent longer, depending on size. The new 01E and 02E bearings are interchangeable with Cooper 01 and 02 Series bearings, yet provide up to 29 percent more radial capacity and 16 to 90 percent more axial load capacity, according to Cooper. The increased life and capacities of the medium-duty and heavy-duty bearings are due primarily to changes in internal geometry. The 01E and 02E bearings feature the same sealing and energy-efficiency as their counterparts in the 01 and 02 Series. www.cooperbearings.com Keep Reading
McLanahan: Dewatering screens
McLanahan's dewatering screens feature heavy-duty screen media for high-capacity applications. McLanahan’s design features heavy side plates, stress-relieved bridges and cross beams that are Huck-bolted together. The versatility of media combinations and dividers available is key to long-term performance and flexibility, the company says. The option for a machine with divided decks offers producers the ability to dewater and stockpile multiple products or blend products from one screen. The dewatering screens also follow sand-classifying tanks or fine-material screw washers. They can be part of recipe sand plants, as well. According to McLanahan, dewatering screen benefits include consistent drip-free discharge, better stockpile management and shorter inventory cycles. www.mclanahan.com Keep Reading

Kleemann: Evo crushers
Kleemann's Evo material-flow concept is designed to eliminate all restriction to the flow of material throughout an entire unit. For example, the discharge chute under Evo crushers is 4 in. wider than the inner width of the crusher, and the subsequent discharge belt is another 4 in. wider than the discharge chute. Material is thus transported quickly and carefully away from the critical area under the crusher, with flow rate increased and wear reduced. Even before crushing takes place, Kleemann says there is an improvement in material flow, thanks to the system widths of the feeder troughs and grizzly that facilitate material flow through the crusher opening. Additionally, Kleemann says Evo crushers feature an inlet geometry that allows for better material penetration into the range of the rotor. www.kleemann.info/en/ Keep Reading
Philippi-Hagenbuch Inc.: Aggregate HiVol Body
Philippi-Hagenbuch Inc. has developed a new, innovative design for its Aggregate HiVol Body. The new body design, developed specifically for use in quarry environments, fits on all brands of off-highway, rigid-frame haul trucks and accommodates all types and consistencies of material. The bodies are designed to match the life of the truck with options available for highly abrasive materials. The new design also decreases material carryback in environments that process sticky material. Philippi-Hagenbuch engineers gather information on height and width restrictions, as well as loadout, to tailor the body for maximum productivity and minimal maintenance. www.philsystems.com Keep Reading
