Crushing innovation was prevalent at March’s ConExpo-Con/Agg, where REMco, Anaconda Equipment and RubbleCrusher were among the manufacturers to showcase their latest equipment. Here’s a rundown of the wares the three OEMs had on display.
REMco’s next-gen VSI
REMco introduced the 2040 series vertical shaft impact (VSI) crusher, which replaces the company’s 1530 series.
REMco says the new crusher has a variety of features that make it a more capable and user-friendly machine. The crusher has horsepower ratings ranging from 200 to 400 hp in both single- and dual-drive motor configurations, as well as throughput capacities from 110 to 310 stph.
Additionally, expanded rotor options for RockMax and SandMax autogenous models are available in sizes from 27 to 33 in. in three-port, four-port and five-port configurations, handling feed sizes up to 4 in. Expanded open shoe table options are also available for the ST/AR model, ranging from 32- to 36-in. four-shoe configurations, with feed size up to 4 in.
Another feature of the series is a dual taper rotor boss and taper lock system that provides secure holding and quick release. New modular, variable-volume autogenous crushing chambers for both the RockMax and SandMax models offer in-field adaptability to different material conditions.
Also, REMco says a new two-position anvil system with internal holder offers a longer service life and better wear metal utilization. It’s available for the hard-parts and semi-autogenous ST/AR models of the 2040 series.
New from Anaconda
ConExpo-Con/Agg also served as the official debut of the I14R mobile impact crusher – the largest impactor to date from Anaconda Equipment.
According to Anaconda, the I14R is engineered for high-capacity aggregate production, C&D recycling, asphalt processing and concrete recycling.
The I14R features a McLanahan Universal 47-in. x 51-in. impact chamber and a 14-ft. x 6-ft. double-deck recirculating screen, which offers exceptional throughput and precise material sizing, the company says. These features make the I14R suitable for larger producers and contract crushing operations.
“We’re proud to introduce the I14R at ConExpo-Con/Agg 2026 as a machine that truly raises the bar for performance and transportability in its class,” says Alistair Forsyth, group president and managing director at Anaconda. “With its powerful impact chamber, integrated recirculating screen and road-friendly weight, the I14R delivers the production our customers demand while maintaining the flexibility today’s contractors and producers require.”

Compact crushing with RubbleCrusher
RubbleCrusher, meanwhile, featured the RC-J65 tracked jaw crusher at the show.
The RC-J65 is designed to deliver powerful performance in a compact footprint, according to RubbleCrusher. Its tracked mobility allows operators to reposition the machine around almost any site, while the adjustable jaw settings enable consistent, saleable output of multiple aggregate sizes.
RubbleCrusher says the J65 is ideal for processing concrete, brick and mixed demolition material in confined spaces.
By combining the RC-J65 and the RC-S48 compact screen, Rubble Crusher says the two machines offer contractors a fully integrated on-site recycling solution. Users can lower transport costs, reduce emissions and conserve natural resources, the company adds.
