ConExpo-Con/Agg: Around Las Vegas: Topgolf Las Vegas
Looking for something a bit more competitive while in town? Stop by Topgolf Las Vegas and challenge your friends to various interactive golf games with golf balls that score themselves. In the signature game, Topgolf, players score points by hitting balls into various targets. The more accurate the shot and the farther the distance away, the more points earned. Think of it as a mix of pinball, bowling and, of course, golf. Team up for a friendly scramble-style competition, or compete as an individual in games such as longest drive or, best chip shot and more. Unlike an average driving range, Topgolf facilities are designed to be more about the experience, with its climate-controlled hitting bays, hundreds of HDTVs, concert venue, two pools and event spaces. Each bay can have up to six players, and clubs are free to rent. Bay rates range from $30-90 depending on day, time and floor. Keep Reading
ConExpo-Con/Agg: Around Las Vegas: The Mob Museum
The Mob Museum, officially the National Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement, gives visitors an up-close and personal view of some of the most infamous moments and figures in the history of organized crime in the United States. Located in the former Las Vegas federal courthouse, the museum uses its vast collection of artifacts and interactive exhibits to tell the stories of notorious gangsters such as Al Capone, Bugsy Siegel and John Gott, and the G-men and FBI agents up against them. Some exhibit highlights include the actual wall where the Saint Valentine’s Day Massacre took place—bullet holes and all, the wiretapping recordings that brought down prominent crime bosses and more. The museum is open daily from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. General admission is $23.95 for adults at the box office, or $20.95 if purchased online in advance. Admission for children age 11-17 is $13.95, and free for children younger than 10 years old. Keep Reading
