Polyurethane canoe liner debuts for conveyor systems

Flexco introduced a polyurethane canoe liner to its conveyor protection solutions lineup. Once installed in a facility’s conveyor skirtboard system, Flexco says the canoe liner provides impact protection, absorbing material loads and preventing structural damage while improving conveyor efficiency and reducing costs. The polyurethane liner mounts inside the skirt box where material impact occurs, and it’s designed to absorb heavy loads and create a high-wear barrier that protects the conveyor’s infrastructure.

Touchscreen work gloves aim to cut glove removal

SmartCut BKCRT201 touchscreen gloves feature medium-cut protection, high dexterity and grip, and special touchscreen fingertips, according to Brass Knuckle. The company says the construction facilitates device use while providing the safety and durability needed on the job. Because workers can keep their gloves on to handle screen work, they don’t have to remove gloves to use their device. Additionally, dry-grip functionality is enhanced by a non-sticky polyurethane coating on the palm and fingers, which improves puncture protection and abrasion resistance.
