Flexco: Flex-Lag
Flexco's Flex-Lag medium ceramic pulley lagging has 39 percent tile coverage, complementing the company's existing full ceramic and diamond ceramic lagging, which provide 80 percent and 15 percent coverage, respectively. Medium ceramic pulley lagging can be utilized in dry, wet or muddy applications where slippage can occur. The horizontal grooves in the lagging trap and deflect water and debris, while the molded ceramic buttons grip the belt’s underside for positive traction and no slippage. The lagging comes in strip widths ranging from 35 in. to 101 in. to match pulley face widths, or from 18 in. to 84 in. to match belt widths. The lagging works with pulley diameters more than 12.6 in. www.flexco.com Photo: Flexco Keep Reading
WEG: Pump Genius software
WEG's Pump Genius software for its CFW-11 variable speed drive manages and monitors up to six pumps in a coordinated system. Pump Genius can operate motors from 5 to 150 hp in the 208 and 230-to-240 volts-alternating-current (VAC) range and motors from 5 to 600 hp in the 480 VAC range. Pump Genius software is designed to reduce system operation and maintenance costs while increasing process accuracy and protection, WEG says. The software provides control and protection, as well as management of cycle hours and master and slave designation. It also monitors and controls system pressure or flow with available faults and alarms referencing low and high set points. The software monitors the operating hours of all the pumps in the system, adding and subtracting pumps as demand changes – all without the need for setting a cycle timer. www.weg.net Keep Reading
Talbert Manufacturing
Talbert Manufacturing's 40-ton lightweight trailer can be designed for the transport of excavators, small to midsized dozers and other construction equipment, and it can be customized for those needing to remain below the superload weight limit in states with 120,000-lb. gross vehicle weight rating restrictions. When paired with a truck, the unit can transport equipment at full capacity – up to 80,000 lbs. – while remaining under the 120,000-lb. superload limit. To best accommodate the height of an excavator, Talbert can customize the trailer with a 22-in. deck height and a deck boom well. www.talbertmfg.com Keep Reading
Michelin Retread Technologies: XZY3
Michelin Retread Technologies is enabling mixed-use fleets and owner-operators to take on the challenges of on/off-road applications with the Michelin XZY3 Pre-Mold retread. The XZY3 retread’s compound protects against aggression, chipping and cutting, while a center groove bottom protector guards the center channel from any stone drilling and also assists in ejecting any stones or debris from the groove. The tread’s four-rib design delivers the traction needed for the tire to operate in soft soil and mud. In all, the retread is available in eight sizes. www.michelintruck.com Keep Reading
Esco Corp.: PosiGrab
Esco Corp. has developed a hydraulic coupler that gives machine operators a simple connection to attachments and provides enhanced site safety, according to the company. The Esco PosiGrab coupler features both front and rear locks that are mechanically engaged through the full working cycle. The coupler's natural position is locked and only opens using forced hydraulic pressure. The connection and release of an attachment, including the visual confirmation that the locking mechanisms are engaged, is done without the operator leaving the safety of the cab. Along with the safety and ease-of-use benefits, PosiGrab couplers were engineered to reduce stress on attachments and machines. www.escocorp.com Keep Reading

Paladin: JRB PowerLatch
The JRB PowerLatch multi-pin-grabber coupler from Paladin is available for excavators and loader backhoes. According to Paladin, the coupler employs several advanced safety features, including an automatic blocking system (ABS) that ensures coupler engagement is maintained during hydraulic failure. Designed to work with a wide range of buckets and attachments, the JRB PowerLatch features backup mechanical locks on both the front and rear attachment pins that are independent of the machine’s hydraulic locking and operating system. The ABS mechanical system automatically locks both pins so coupler engagement is maintained, even if hydraulic failure occurs. www.paladinconstructiongroup.com Keep Reading
