Elrus Aggregate Systems

Elrus Aggregate Systems' 6-ft. x 12-ft. three-deck screening plant was designed and developed with an emphasis on increasing plant efficiency, reducing size and weight, and minimizing maintenance and downtime. To end users, this means a smaller footprint and less power is required to produce capacities equal to or greater than 6-ft. x 20-ft. and 7-ft. x 20-ft. machines, the company says. The screen design incorporates two screening sections on each deck, offering the benefits of both horizontal and inclined screening. The primary high-angle panel at the feed end results in rapid fines removal, while the secondary lower angle panel results in accurate sizing and stratification associated with horizontal screening. Two 13-hp electric vibrating motors power the plant. In addition, because there is no eccentric shaft, bearings, gears, seals, sheaves or guards to replace, there’s less to break down and no parts inventory to warehouse. www.elrus.com Keep Reading

KPI-JCI

The new-generation Vanguard Jaw Crusher reduces maintenance and increases performance. The optional tramp iron relief system enables adjusting the closed-side-setting, providing overload protection from uncrushable events. Increased stroke, toggle angle and flywheel inertia provide up to 25 percent more production, greater efficiencies and lower fuel costs over competitive models. Components such as the common flinger collar, stress-relieved base frame and machined saddle work to reduce cost-of-ownership. www.kpijci.com Keep Reading

Volvo Construction Equipment

The Volvo hauler chassis for F-Series articulated haulers makes it easier for customers and expert body builders to adapt standard articulated haulers into special purpose vehicles. The hauler chassis modular concept offers customers a standard articulated hauler, supplied without load body or hoist cylinders. The hauler chassis can be fitted with an ejector body, water tank, hook lift, timber hauler or a fifth wheel to pull a trailer. A bolt-on frame extension is available for the A25F and A30F-based machines. The extension, which is offered in two lengths – 47 in. and 67 in. – means longer or larger volumes can be supported. www.volvoce.com/na Photo: Volvo Construction Equipment Keep Reading

Baldor Electric Co.

Baldor Electric Company’s Dodge HT500 synchronous drive system delivers high torque, low maintenance and potential energy savings with less overhung load than V-belts. Synchronous belt drives run slip-free and are proven to be more efficient and provide better performance than V-belts. HT500 belts also offer longer life in wet and oily environments than V-belts in similar conditions. Baldor offers the HT500 belt as a companion to our sprocket products. The HT500 belt is made of polyurethane and carbon fiber cords ensuring high durability in severe environments and higher torque transmission than similar rubber made products. www.baldor.com Keep Reading

Unified Screening & Crushing

Unified Clean Screens are all woven in the U.S. with our highest-quality Tufflex wire and are available in stainless steel wire. The harmonic effect of this product reduces pegging, plugging and blinding while optimizing accurate material sizing and throughput, the company says. Non-blinding screen media is made from crimped wire and offered in three styles: “W” is the strongest screen with non-blinding, non-plugging action; “D” provides the most throughput with accurate sizing; and “T” style offers the most open area and throughput with less accurate sizing. www.unifiedscreening.com Keep Reading

Case Construction Equipment

The 521F wheel loader offers a 12 percent increase in fuel efficiency over the E Series model, Case Construction Equipment says. The machine is available in standard Z-bar, extended-reach and tool-carrier models. Case chose selective catalytic reduction (SCR) technology for the 521F to meet Tier 4 Interim emissions standards. According to Case, SCR results in lower temperatures in the exhaust system while optimizing combustion. In addition, the 521F offers optional heavy-duty axles, enabling it to operate in scrapyards or recycling centers. The axles, with auto-locking front and open-rear differentials, have the same design as the larger F series wheel loader axles, including metal face seals and sintered-bronze brake linings. www.casece.com Photo: Case Construction Equipment Keep Reading

McLanahan Corp.

Universal Engineering introduced the jaw crusher in 1906, and since then the technology has remained pretty much the same. When McLanahan Corp. purchased Universal in 2012, it began a total re-engineering to create a safer, simpler and smarter jaw crusher. Freedom Series Jaw Crushers have a re-engineered attack angle and crushing stroke pattern that increase capacity by 15 percent while minimizing wear on jaw dies. McLanahan has also calculated a new way to adjust the crusher’s close-side settings. The hydraulic rams are isolated from the crushing action, allowing full automation, finger-tip control and push-button adjustment—virtually eliminating toggle migration, reducing expensive problems. www.mclanahan.com Photo: McLanahan Keep Reading
