Cone crusher designed to increase uptime

The new 500-hp Cedarapids MVP550X cone crusher from Terex MPS features a patented Rollercone design, which along with the super bearing, increases efficiency—making more horsepower available for crushing. Major new enhancements include high-speed clearing of jammed material and quick crusher separation capability for faster manganese changes. At the press of a button, fully guided dual-action tramp relief cylinders provide 6 in. of lift for easy clearing of jammed feed material. The hydro-pneumatic tramp iron relief system instantly resets the crusher setting after passing uncrushable material without having to activate valves and pumps. A high-flow manifold system with multiple accumulators provides redundant cylinder protection. The hydraulic-powered threaded upper assembly allows for quick crusher setting adjustment under load. www.terexmps.com Keep Reading

Pumps offer easy installation with no repiping

Wilden has introduced the Advanced FIT line of air-operated double-diaphragm (AODD) pumps. The pumps precisely “FIT” bolt-to-bolt and pipe-to-pipe in existing fluid-handling piping systems to provide increased performance, with no repiping necessary. They have been engineered to be an easy, cost-effective way to enhance and upgrade existing pump performance with bolted product containment. Additional features include a re-engineered fluid path that increases flow rates up to 54 percent vs. current Wilden models; exact fit from bolt-down footprint to inlet and discharge connection heights; fewer fasteners and easy accessibility with power tools for faster assembly/disassembly and shorter downtime; and labor-saving manifold flexibility to assist in tight-fitting installations. wildenpump.com Keep Reading

Belt cleaner designed for safety, easy maintenance

Martin Engineering’s SQC2S Cleaner features individually cushioned tungsten carbide blades for effective cleaning without risk to the belt or splices, the company says. The new design forms a single sealing edge that maintains steady, adjustable pressure. Patented rubber buffers maintain the cleaning pressure throughout the blade’s life, while deflecting sufficiently to allow splices to pass without harm—and ensuring compatibility with reversing belts or those that experience backup at shutdown. Moving parts are zinc-plated to resist seizing or rusting. The blades conform to the belt profile, adjusting individually to deliver continuous contact across the belt. The rugged construction is engineered to withstand high belt speeds, high-impact transfers, high tonnage loads and similar conditions. www.martin-eng.com Keep Reading
