Powerscreen

Powerscreen’s new Warrior 1400X scalper has been designed with economy in mind — with reduced engine running speed, enhanced hydraulics, and a fuel consumption reduction of up to 15 percent over its predecessor, the Warrior 1400. Its screening angle range widens 13° to 19°. Standard stockpiling capacity on all conveyors has increased by up to 25 percent. With the chassis riser option and the telescopic side conveyor option, the fines and mid-grade stockpiling capacity is increased to more than double that of a standard Warrior 1400, the company says. Time required for set-up and shutdown is faster than the previous model. Powerscreen.com Photo: Powerscreen Keep Reading

NPK Construction Equipment, Inc.

Standard on all of NPK’s medium and large hydraulic hammers, is a shock-absorbing mounting bracket that uses special heavy-duty rubber mounts to absorb shock, recoil, and impulse vibration. The exclusive one-piece design eliminates the need for mechanical springs and overly heavy mounting brackets. They also come with an idle blow sensor that virtually eliminates blank firing. The net result is that you minimize machine wear, and improve operator comfort for greater reliability and productivity. In addition, a grease port is provided for automatic and/or manual greasing of the demolition tool. This prevents damage or premature wear caused by a lack of grease. And when the eventual wear on the hammer body is involved, NPK's replaceable sleeve design can reduce your costs by a factor of 5 to 10 times less than others. NPKce.com Keep Reading

Xylem

Xylem has added three new sludge pumps to its Flygt 2600 drainage range. The pumps (models 2620.280, 2630.280 and 2640.280) were designed for multi-purpose applications. With a range of 2.4 to 8.9 hp, the pumps are capable of flows up to 450 gallons per minute and heads to 128 ft. They handle solids up to 3.2 in. and sand concentrations of about 20 percent by weight, due to a larger inlet and pump volute, Hard-Ironvortex impeller, polyurethane-lined pump housing and side discharge design. Another recent addition to the Flygt drainage range is the two-stage Flygt pump 2660 SH. Twin impellers enable the 2660 SH to pump fluid higher. XylemInc.com Keep Reading
