Scott Crabtree, a 34-year veteran of the Erlen Group, was promoted to lead the company’s aggregates division.

The Erlen Group operates Springfield Underground and three limestone quarries – including the recently purchased Carroll County Stone in Berryville, Arkansas. The Erlen Group also operates Westside Stone in Springfield, Missouri, and Joplin Stone in Joplin, Missouri.

Crabtree is now responsible for operations at all three sites.

“Scott is a steady leader with years of industry knowledge,” says John Griesemer, president and CEO of the Erlen Group. “With the recent addition of Carroll County Stone, Scott was the natural choice to lead this division.”

Crabtree, who joined the Erlen Group in 1989, has served the company in a variety of roles over the years. He has been the company’s mine general manager, as well as safety health environmental and audit manager.
