ConExpo-Con/Agg returns next month to showcase the equipment and technology that will shape the next three years for aggregates.

The March 3-7 trade show will feature 2,000 exhibitors and cover 2.9 million sq. ft. of space in and around the Las Vegas Convention Center. Educational opportunities will be plentiful, as well, with keynote speakers, education sessions and workshops available throughout the show.

“This is where you see how technology, equipment and people are transforming infrastructure, workforce development and community impact,” says Dana Wuesthoff, show director of ConExpo-Con/Agg. “It is not just about observing the future. It is about standing in the middle of it and connecting with the industry leaders who are building it.”

The new keynote stage

One new component of this year’s ConExpo-Con/Agg is the Ground Breakers Stage, which will feature keynote speakers from some of the industry’s premier companies.

The stage, which is available to all ConExpo-Con/Agg attendees, will offer insights from industry leaders across the first four days of the show. Jahmy Hindman, senior vice president and chief technology officer at John Deere, is slated to be the first speaker on the Ground Breakers Stage when he addresses technology’s transformative role in addressing persistent challenges on March 3.

Epiroc’s Ron Hankins and Luck Stone’s Chuck Stilson will also appear on the stage March 3, sharing how full autonomy can strengthen productivity and purpose in modern mines and quarries. In 2025, Luck Stone deployed Epiroc’s first fully autonomous SmartROC D65 drill rig in the U.S., marking the first fully autonomous surface drill delivered to the quarry market anywhere in the world.

Additionally, Command Alkon CEO Martin Willoughby will appear on the Ground Breakers Stage on March 3 to deliver a keynote titled “Leading in the Age of AI.”

Others slated to address showgoers include Stephen Roy, president of Mack Trucks and chairman of Volvo Group North America, and Tony Fassino, group president of construction industries at Caterpillar. Both will appear on the Ground Breakers Stage on March 4.

“Every three years, Las Vegas transforms into the epicenter of construction innovation with companies ready to show you what’s next,” Fassino says. “We are excited to show you what’s ready right now during ConExpo-Con/Agg’s new Ground Breakers Stage series.”

Fassino will take to the Ground Breakers Stage to detail how Caterpillar is addressing the industry’s toughest challenges head-on, pushing boundaries and shaping the future.

Small business workshop

Another educational component for showgoers will be a small business workshop, where small business leaders can learn and connect.

Scheduled for March 6, ConExpo-Con/Agg says the special workshop is designed for entrepreneurs, family-owned companies and firms with up to 50 employees. The workshop will focus on practical strategies for growth, networking and leadership development, showing how attendees can enhance their knowledge of topics such as tax planning, fleet selection, bidding, growth, employee retention and technology.

According to the show, sessions will concentrate on the real-world needs of small contractors and business owners – including planning, operational challenges and tools for building long-term success.

“Small businesses are the pulse of the construction industry, and the small business workshop gives owners and decision-makers a place to learn from one another and build the relationships that move their work forward,” Wuesthoff says. “This workshop creates space for leaders who are building companies one project at a time and who play a vital role in shaping the future of construction.”

The workshop is part of a suite of education opportunities offered at ConExpo-Con/Agg.

“The small business leaders deserve access to education and resources that fit their reality and their time,” Wuesthoff says. “ConExpo-Con/Agg puts everything in one place, so people can learn, connect and explore new ideas without having to attend multiple events across the year.”
