New system transforms filter press maintenance
McLanahan Corp., in collaboration with sister company Diefenbach, introduced the Quickchange system to streamline filter cloth replacement and filter plate inspection. Engineered for speed, simplicity and safety, Quickchange reimagines filter cloth maintenance with a design that allows cloths to glide effortlessly in and out during replacement. Unlike traditional methods requiring extensive manual labor or specialized lifting equipment, Quickchange enables operators to perform maintenance at ground level in minutes. McLanahan says the system reduces the industry-standard replacement time of 10 to 20 minutes per cloth to one to two minutes.
