ISEE hosted the 51st Annual Conference on Explosives & Blasting Technique earlier this year at Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort in Cherokee, North Carolina. P&Q visited with exhibitors such as Epiroc on the trade show floor. Pictured here from Epiroc are Greg Ayers (left) and Jared Kessen. Ayers is district manager of the Southeast at Epiroc while Kessen is district sales manager in that same region.

Strayos CEO Ravi Sahu (right) was also on hand for the ISEE conference, where P&Q visited with him and Rio Tinto’s Brett Bertina on the show floor. Strayos specializes in developing advanced image processing and AI solutions that are designed to improve safety, efficiency and productivity at jobsites.

Sandvik had a presence at the ISEE conference, as well. Pictured from left are Valerie Waters, Andrew Redfern and Scott McMaster. Waters serves Sandvik as marketing manager, Redfern is dealer development manager and McMaster is key customer manager for surface drills.

Sigicom, which offers measurement systems for vibration, noise and geotech, was yet another exhibiting company on the ISEE trade show floor, where Erim Yildirir (left) and Geoffrey Rigsby spent a moment with P&Q. Yildirir is technical sales engineer at Sigicom while Rigsby is global sales manager.

Another industry event, the Pit & Quarry Roundtable & Conference, took place at the very end of January at The Wigwam in Phoenix. LJ Inc.’s Tracy Slieff (left), Luck Stone’s Raymond Slaughter (center) and P&Q’s Rob Fulop made up one of 14 teams that competed in the event’s annual golf outing, which was held at The Wigwam’s Gold Course.

An evening welcome reception, meanwhile, brought Roundtable attendees together for networking ahead of the event’s education program. Pictured here during the reception are TCI Manufacturing’s Kelan Moylan (left) and Crush Mode’s Micah Tysver.
