ConExpo-Con/Agg is upon us once again.
This year’s version is my fifth. Like every ConExpo, I’m eager to see the next wave of equipment and technology infusing the industry.
The emphasis is on technology because this will be the ConExpo-Con/Agg where AI, autonomy, telematics and other digital tools are more prevalent in iron than ever before. The 2026 show should ultimately serve as an inflection point for the next era of quarrying.

While the ConExpo-Con/Agg many of you know is the one within a five-day window, the show experience this year took on new life for the trade press ahead of the March 3-7 Las Vegas event.
A series of virtual press conferences in January and February offered previews of exhibitors’ show plans. In addition, a number of equipment manufacturers shared news releases ahead of the show detailing the equipment they plan to launch at ConExpo.
This month’s sponsored “Aggregate Guide to ConExpo-Con/Agg 2026,” is another show guide for you. The supplement features must-see exhibits at the show – and more.
Additionally, we encourage you to keep up with our ConExpo-Con/Agg coverage online. More news and developments are posted by the day at pitandquarry.com/conexpo.
And if you’re not already signed up to receive P&Q’s dedicated ConExpo-Con/Agg e-news, you can do so at pitandquarry.com/subscribe. Our first show e-newsletter went out Feb. 23, with three more lined up March 3, 4 and 5 as ConExpo-Con/Agg news emerges. Our post-show e-news March 10 will present a final look at everything ConExpo had to offer.
If you want even more ConExpo-Con/Agg content, check out Episode 60 of P&Q’s Drilling Deeper podcast. I had the opportunity in early February to visit with ConExpo-Con/Agg show director Dana Wuesthoff, who offers perspective on the massive effort that goes into making the show a spectacle like no other.
If you plan to be at ConExpo, be sure to visit Pit & Quarry in the convention center’s Grand Lobby (Booth GL31218). When we’re not traversing the trade show floor, managing editor Jack Kopanski and I will be doing interviews in the booth with you, our readers, to hear what’s captivating you at ConExpo-Con/Agg.
Of course, while ConExpo-Con/Agg is by far the biggest draw to Las Vegas this month, it isn’t the only one. The National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association’s Annual Convention is expected to attract hundreds of industry leaders March 1-3 to Fontainebleau Las Vegas. P&Q will be on hand for those festivities, as well.
Beyond ConExpo, P&Q plans to bring the industry together at the end of March for the Pit & Quarry Roundtable & Conference. Winter Storm Fern forced a postponement of our January event, but we’re excited about our new dates March 31-April 1 at LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort. Aggregate producers interested in joining us in Naples, Florida, can apply today at pitandquarryroundtable.com.
