ConExpo-Con/Agg serves as an inflection point every three years, showing where the industry is headed and how far it’s come.
Next month’s show should mark a significant industry transition, as technology is making its way into aggregates at a pace like never before.
“The industry’s moving fast right now,” says Gavin Cole, executive vice president of sales at Kirby-Smith Machinery. “At ConExpo a couple of years ago, it didn’t feel like there was much new – but that’s changing quickly. You’re going to see a lot of innovation rolling out into 2026. Producers are pursuing what I’d call ‘aggressive efficiency,’ finding ways to scale, operate smarter and grow sustainably.”
Built for discovery
The excitement leading into the March 3-7 show is palpable, as ConExpo-Con/Agg is traditionally the most anticipated and well-attended industry show in North America.
The 2026 version should look and feel like shows of the past, providing a massive venue to explore the latest equipment, innovations and technologies – up close and hands-on.
“ConExpo-Con/Agg 2026 is more than a gathering – it’s the launchpad for the next era of construction,” says Dana Wuesthoff, show director. “This is where construction industry leaders, innovators and visionaries converge to rewrite what’s possible. From groundbreaking technologies to lasting partnerships, every moment at the show is designed to inspire progress, spark new ideas and propel the construction industry forward.”
Eric Sauvage, president and CEO of LBX Company who also serves as chair of ConExpo-Con/Agg 2026, agrees. He characterizes the show as “the crucible where the future of construction is forged.”
“For exhibitors, this is a rare and invaluable opportunity to connect directly with thousands of decision-makers, showcase state-of-the-art products to an international audience and gain firsthand insight into the evolving needs of the marketplace,” Sauvage says. “Here, the world’s leading innovators unveil their latest breakthroughs, create meaningful partnerships and shape the direction of our industry for years to come.
Where deals happen
The appeal of the show is rooted in its ability to connect industry professionals with transformative opportunities, hands-on experiences and innovations that make a lasting impact. Regular showgoers value the breadth and depth of resources available, as well as the chance to engage directly with peers and manufacturers.
“Attending ConExpo-Con/Agg provides valuable exposure to any potential new and improved safety-related solutions and resources that can be shared, applied and implemented in our business,” says Spencer Johnson of Payne + Dolan, a design and construction services company.
While “large” is one way to describe ConExpo-Con/Agg, nothing else industrywide compares to its size and scope – at least not in North America.
“The show generates a great deal of traffic, leading to some high-quality conversations in our booth,” says Josh Swank, chief growth officer at Philippi-Hagenbuch. “We anticipate showgoers being very interested in learning how modifying their haul trucks with custom-engineered solutions can take their hauling efficiency and safety to the next level.”
