Video: Bucyrus-Erie “FX” bucket

The Bucyrus “FX” bucket was developed by Bucyrus-Erie in the late 1930s. Watch this bucket, working on a Bucyrus-Monighan 5W dragline, dump backwards at a surface coal mine of the Northern Illinois Coal Co. in 1938. This video was was compiled, narrated and produced by Keith Haddock for the Historical Construction Equipment Association.
