The new GrizzlyDrive® drum motor is designed specifically for belt conveyors operating under harsh, abrasive and demanding conditions. It features robust mechanical seals, heavy-duty bearings, planetary and coaxial gear configuration. All drive components are enclosed inside the drum and engineered for up to 80,000 hours of continuous operation without maintenance. The GrizzlyDrive® with VDG patented IronGrip™ lagging eliminates lagging delamination, improves belt tracking and prolongs belt life. The VDG GrizzlyDrive® eliminates the hazards posed by conventional external conveyor drive configuration, increasing operator safety, efficiency, and maximizing space utilization. Available up to 500 HP and 42-inch diameter to suit most conveyor belt applications.
