Dual silicon carbide mechanical seals are protected by a labyrinth seal running against a replaceable 430 stainless steel shaft sleeve that is further protected by seal pressure relief ports. The mechanical seal sits in an oil filled chamber that contains Tsurumi’s oil lifter device, ensuring upper seal lubrication even at low oil levels.
