Intercomp, a manufacturer of portable vehicle weighing and measurement products, released the TS30 CPU – a touchscreen indicator for self-contained operation of portable scales.
The TS30 CPU connects with scale pads via RFX wireless weighing to collect, display and save individual wheel, axle, gross, tare and net weights – all on a single screen in real time. In addition, the data that is collected and saved can be customized and included on tickets from the integrated printer.
Truck scale operators can create tickets and weighing records remotely via the touchscreen display and graphic user interface of the wireless indicator and control unit. According to Intercomp, this, in turn, allows users to efficiently run monitoring programs for applications such as inventory tracking, weight compliance and safety screening.
The color touchscreen indicator makes operation easier and more productive, Intercomp says, with most weighing options displayed on a single screen. The screen can also display axle spacing when in weigh-in-motion mode.
Control and operating functions are integrated into a portable, self-contained case with RFX wireless technology, which allows communication with up to 12 scales with line-of-sight connectivity up to 300 ft. via cable-free remote connection. The wireless technology also allows a single operator to perform either static or weigh-in-motion operations.
