The Terex Finlay J-1170 primary mobile jaw crusher has a 44-in. x 28-in. chamber that provides material reduction and product sizing. The jaw chamber is available with optional hydraulic release – a feature Terex says is useful when crushing construction and demolition debris. The hydraulic release option has an automatic overload protection system to prevent damage by uncrushable items in the feed material. Hydrostatic transmission of the chamber offers operators reversible operation in the event of blockage. The hydrostatic system also provides variable chamber speed to suit given applications. Additionally, the machine has a heavy-duty variable speed vibrating grizzly feeder with integrated pre-screen that provides an aggressive action to separate fines material efficiently. The feeder ensures continuous choke feeding of the crushing chamber for optimal productivity.
