Superior Industries launched a new version of its TeleStacker PilePro automation program. According to Superior, version 14.0 of PilePro features enhancements to user interface and functionality. Among the changes is the introduction of an updated touchscreen boasting a higher resolution to enhance visibility in outdoor settings. Also, the screen’s protective housing was fortified to withstand fluctuations in temperature more effectively, ensuring performance in various conditions. Each screen is now loaded with an on-demand view of the owner’s manual. A PDF viewer provides screen-specific instructions from the manual for each step in the automation user experience.
Effective monitoring of vibrating screens
Pulse Condition Monitoring (CM) monitors the health of vibrating screens using modern algorithms and artificial intelligence. According to Haver & Boecker Niagara, Pulse CM provides accurate measurements and forecasts that are complemented by information that is easy to understand. As Haver & Boecker Niagara describes, Pulse CM is a wireless diagnostics tool that helps mineral processing operations be proactive rather than reactive when it comes to maintenance efforts. Monitor crushers, screens through dedicated app
Metso expanded its intelligent crushing and screening offering with a new software application. The new Metso Remote IC is used for remote control and monitoring of the crushing and screening process, connecting all Lokotrack crushers and screens wirelessly on a site. With the app, Metso says operators can view all Lokotrack train machines and their main process parameters using a single dashboard. The feeder and crusher settings can be adjusted safely from the excavator cabin, the company says, and the overall visibility of the process allows operators to adjust the feed for an optimal production level.
Dashcam added as fleet management tool
A dashcam is the latest in Blue Ink Technology’s (BIT) lineup of real-time telematics tools. The BIT dashcam will automatically connect to BIT air scale sensors to make gross and axle weight data available to fleet managers in real time. The dashcam’s built-in cellular modem allows data to be sent to the cloud without driver intervention, providing visibility across a fleet.
