Luff Industries launched a new roller as a means for end users to decrease operating and maintenance costs and increase efficiency.
According to Luff, the new North American Standard (NAS) roller provides consistency in the product and the quality of that product so customers know exactly what to expect in terms of longevity and performance.
Each roller is manufactured to Luff’s standards, the company says, but the rollers can fit into a variety of different manufacturer frames. The NAS roller is available in 5-in. CEMA C steel trough rolls, for 24 in. to 48-in. belt widths, and for 12 different idler manufacturers.
As Luff describes, end users can purchase the NAS roller for all of their conveyors – regardless of the original manufacturer.
