SpotSee, an internet of things and end-to-end solution provider, released the OpsWatch Vibration Monitoring System, which is designed to deliver real-time impact and equipment vibration information. According to the company, the OpsWatch system helps users spot trends and identify potential issues before they result in unplanned downtime.
The vibration monitoring system provides alerts when the vibrations in a piece of equipment are outside the normal range. It also has the ability to stream condition-based data through Wi-Fi, SpotSee adds.
In addition, by using the OpsWatch Cloud, users can access their information from any web-enabled device through a secure log-in. The dashboard shows whether an equipment is in “normal” or “alarm” mode and from there, users can view more in-depth information on their equipment, as well as equipment performance trends.
