In conjunction with the Colorado Ready Mixed Concrete Association and Colorado Asphalt Pavement Association, the Colorado Stone, Sand & Gravel Association held its annual industry tour in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
During the event, legislative and regulatory officials and staff toured a quarry, rail offloading facility, concrete plant and asphalt plant. CSSGA also offered an educational presentation for attendees.
“Some of the attendees were seeing these types of facilities for the first time,” says Annelise Shepherd, communications and administrative manager at CSSGA. “This is critical as they make decisions and implement regulations that impact our industry.”
