Shale Support hires director, VP

Shale Support, a provider of frac sand and logistical solutions to the oil and gas proppant market, hired Leslie Gillespie as director of supply chain and Keith Tubandt as vice president of production management.

Gillespie will be responsible for overseeing the company’s logistics, production and sales capabilities. She previously worked at Superior Silica Sands, serving as master scheduler and eventually supply chain manager. Gillespie has also worked in materials, shipping and receiving, export compliance and forecasting for an avionics company.

Tubandt will oversee all production for the organization, including daily production, process improvements at both wet and dry plants, capital improvements for new product lines and preventative maintenance programs to optimize the plant’s production availability, according to the company. He most recently served as a full-time consultant for American Silica.

Gillespie will work in the company’s Fort Worth, Texas, office while Tubandt will be based in Picayune, Mississippi. Both will report directly to Shale Support president and co-founder Jeff Bartlam.
