T-K-O Equipment Co. was named the exclusive dealer for Screen Machine Industries and SMI Compact crushing and screening equipment in Texas.

T-K-O Equipment now offers the full Screen Machine and the SMI Compact line from its two Texas locations in Grand Prairie and New Braunfels.

T-K-O Equipment’s Grand Prairie location is in the heart of the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. The company’s branch office in New Braunfels serves both the San Antonio and Austin markets.

T-K-O Equipment also serves customers in the Permian Basin.

“We are very excited to partner with SMI in the Texas market,” says Troy Jack Smith, president of T-K-O Equipment. “We believe in offering high-quality machinery and high-quality service. We know that SMI shares these same values. We have two veterans in the aggregate industry heading up our crushing and screening division – Walter Cummins and Philip Boubel.”

According to Screen Machine, T-K-O Equipment was founded in 1978 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The company expanded into Texas in 1979.

Screen Machine and SMI Compact will be the first line of newly manufactured equipment T-K- O Equipment has offered in 30 years. T-K-O Equipment has focused on used construction machinery to date – 95 percent of which has been of the Caterpillar brand.

T-K-O Equipment also offers other brands’ late-model used machines for construction and aggregates, as well as attachments and OEM parts for nearly all manufacturers.

“T-K-O Equipment Company is a great American success story that Screen Machine is very excited to be associated with,” says John Lamprinakos, president and CEO of Screen Machine. “For nearly 60 years, we have built our reputation on productivity, dependability and American innovation. T-K-O Equipment Co. shares those values, along with a commitment to excellence that is second to none. We are proud to have them among our family of dealers.”

Screen Machine was founded in 1966 in central Ohio. It has a 125,000-sq.-ft. manufacturing facility in Etna, Ohio.
