David Chereb, a regular contributor to Pit & Quarry, is now the president of SC-Market Analytics (SC-MA).
SC-MA has been operating for six years under the legal banner of the David Chereb Group Inc. (DCG Inc.), of which Chereb is president and the majority shareholder. By also making Chereb the president of SC-MA, SCMA says it will be able to provide a simpler management structure and be able to respond to customer inquiries more efficiently.
“We are making this change to simplify administrative roles between SC-MA and the David Chereb Group Inc.,” says Chereb, who writes a monthly aggregate forecast in Pit & Quarry.
DCG Inc., founded in 1996, provides analytical and expert witness testimony for the construction materials industry. Most DCG Inc. work involves analyzing aggregate demand at the local/county level for individual or multiple quarry locations.
In addition to Chereb becoming president, SC-MA named Colin Sutherland executive vice president.
