Sandvik Mining & Rock Technology appointed Ville Keinänen as new business line manager of surface drills in the U.S. He will start in the new role this December, working in the Atlanta area.
According to Sandvik, Ville has more than 20 years of management experience, including sales and finance-related responsibilities. He has been with Sandvik since 2007, with responsibilities for service, aftermarket, territory and general management.
Keinänen is currently the territory manager for Finland and the Baltic states, as well as sales manager for Sandvik’s surface drills division. He acquired a master of science in business administration in 2003 from Lappeenranta University in Finland.
