Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology and Dyno Nobel will host their first Mining Academy April 10-12 at the Chateau on the Lake Resort and Convention Center in Branson, Missouri.
The program will be styled after the companies’ Quarry Academy program, lasting three days and including lectures, workshops, equipment and blast simulators, and a field tour. According to the companies, Mining Academy will look at the full production stream of unit operations.
The event, aimed specifically at underground room and pillar limestone aggregate producers, will give attendees a big-picture view of best practices and insights on current and evolving technology for the industry. The seminar will also focus on improving safety, optimizing production and saving money.
