Rogers Group acquired Sterling Materials, a producer of construction aggregates based in Verona, Kentucky.
According to Rogers Group, Sterling Materials serves the asphalt and ready-mixed concrete industries in northern Kentucky. The company owns about 1,000 acres of land in Verona, with underground mining operations producing more than 1 million tons of limestone each year.
As Rogers Group describes, Sterling Materials’ location is conveniently situated between its operations in Cincinnati and Louisville, Kentucky. Rogers Group will operate the Sterling Materials location as the Boone Quarry.
