A number of Rockster Recycler machines were showcased at Equip Sales and Leasing Corp.’s Live Crushing Demo Day.
The event took place in Hamden, Connecticut, at Equip Sales and Leasing Corp.’s sister company Modern Materials Corp.’s headquarters.
Equip Sales and Leasing Corp. has been a Rockster partner since 2009.
During the event, eight of Rockster’s machines were demoed, including the R700S impactor, R1000S impactor, R1100DS impactor, RDS410 finishing screen, RSS410 scalping screen, RSS514 scalping screen, RST18 stacker and RST23 stacker. The demo of the R1000S marked the first live demonstration of the machine in the United States.
According to Rockster, all of the impactors showcased at the event offer a closed-circuit system with removable screen box and double functional return/stockpile conveyor. The R1000S, in particular, was designed to increase operating and safety comfort. It features a variety of refinements, such as an easy gap adjustment for simpler grain size adaptation and an integrated measuring system for full machine control and analysis, the company adds.
“We wanted to present a big part of our portfolio so U.S. customers can get in touch with our products,” says Wolfgang Kormann, CEO of Rockster. “In my opinion, demonstrations and references are the most useful ways to promote products like ours, because the customer can really interact with the machine and get to know all features and different applications. The exchange of experience from the different customers is one way more to get trust in our products.”
