
P&Q’s Jack Kopanski and Kevin Yanik paid a summer visit to Gregory Trucking, which continues to operate the very first 1400 Jumbo recycling plant ever produced by Eagle Crusher. Representatives from Gregory Trucking and Eagle Crusher gathered for the visit in Elyria, Ohio. Among those on hand were (from left) Gregory Trucking’s John Gregory and Cole Gregory and Eagle Crusher’s Bill Compton and Sydney Princehorn. Gregory Trucking took ownership of its 1400 Jumbo in 1998. Eagle Crusher says this particular plant was first put to use on a jobsite in Dayton, Ohio.

Regal Rexnord hosted a media day event at its headquarters in Milwaukee. Among those present from the company were (from left) Erik Ankerson, Matthew McCloy and Don Sullivan. Ankerson serves Regal Rexnord as vertical sales director for gearing and industrial components. McCloy is international sales leader for the company, and Sullivan is director of industry marketing.

Also participating in Regal Rexnord’s media day were Dan Plach (left) and John Rydzewski. The two highlighted the company’s Perceptiv intelligent reliability and maintenance solutions. According to Regal Rexnord, the Perceptiv platform serves as a single source for condition monitoring and predictive maintenance of powertrain and automation solutions.

Resolve Aggregates, which ranks 70th on the U.S. Geological Survey’s list of the top 100 sand and gravel producers in the nation, is investing in a second wet processing plant from CDE. The company intends to install the second plant at a greenfield site in Fannin County, Texas – about three miles from an existing facility in Ravenna, Texas. Resolve Aggregates expects the plant to process up to 330 tph of sand and aggregates for the Texas construction industry. Says Resolve Aggregates president Keith Newell (pictured): “CDE has been an essential partner in helping us achieve this important milestone. Its wash plant has proven time and again its reliability and efficiency. That has paid dividends and contributed greatly to our continued growth and rank as one of the top 100 sand and gravel producers in the U.S.”

Gianna Zucker joined Pit & Quarry as an account executive. Zucker works out of the downtown Cleveland office of North Coast Media, the magazine’s parent company. She joins P&Q from Torch Dental, where she served as a sales representative.
