The Pennsylvania Aggregates & Concrete Association (PACA) named Megan Dennis director of environmental, safety and health.
In the role, Dennis will offer strategic guidance on environmental, safety and health regulations, as well as provide educational support to PACA members regarding state and federal acts, statutes and regulations, and agency initiatives that affect the crushed stone, sand and gravel, ready-mixed concrete and cement industries.
Additionally, Dennis is tasked with fostering collaboration to advance statewide policies and regulations that promote the interests of these industries.
“We are excited to welcome Megan to the PACA staff,” says Jeff Detwiler of New Enterprise Stone & Lime Co., who currently serves as PACA board chairperson. “Her extensive background in environmental compliance and active involvement in the association make her an excellent fit for this key role, especially as the association grows its presence throughout the commonwealth.”
According to PACA, Dennis has been actively engaged with PACA through the Young Leaders Development Group and the environmental community. She is a graduate of the inaugural PACA Emerging Leaders Academy.
Dennis most recently served as a senior scientist at Skelly & Loy.
