The National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association’s (NSSGA) 2026 Annual Convention is underway in Las Vegas, with more than 700 members of the aggregate industry reportedly in attendance.
The meeting is being held in conjunction with the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association’s (NRMCA) Annual Convention at Fontainebleau Las Vegas.
“Our Annual Convention is an ideal opportunity for members to connect and learn from others in the industry,” says Michele Stanley, NSSGA president and CEO. “Holding this meeting jointly allows us to be efficient and shape a united policy message to take back to Washington, D.C.”
The NSSGA Annual Convention, taking place Sunday to Tuesday, includes committee meetings, breakouts and receptions, along with joint events with NRMCA. The joint general session Monday featured Pro Football Hall of Famer Terry Bradshaw.
Among the business already conducted at the NSSGA Annual Convention was the Manufacturing & Services (M&S) Division’s board of directors meeting, where Superior Industries’ Kristen Randall was named chair. Randall is the learning and development coordinator at Superior. She joined the company in 2023 to lead the launch of OptimizeU, the company’s industry learning and development initiative.
“Our M&S members are a vital part of our association success,” Stanley says. “They develop innovative processes and build key relationships, which increases our industry footprint. I am confident that Kristen’s industry experience and leadership background will help the division grow to new heights.”
Rich Evangelista, industry manager of aggregates, mining and biomass at Bunting Magnetics Co., was named M&S Division vice chair.
