Epiroc debuted a new range of down-the-hole (DTH) hammers that is designed for all drilling applications.
According to Epiroc, its new DTH 5 hammers feature an exceptional rate of penetration and longer service life that set a new standard for performance and cost-effectiveness.
The company says the DTH 5 hammers are ideal for high- and low-impact energy scenarios, handling any rock formation. Additionally, Epiroc says drill operators can boost productivity with fewer interruptions and quicker task changes.
“We’ve combined the best of our hard-striking QL and robust COP Gold hammers to create a product that not only performs but transforms operations,” says Delaney Erickson, global product manager of DTH in Epiroc’s Tools division. “The Epiroc DTH 5 hammers truly pack a serious punch, offering our customers the tools they need to take their businesses to the next level.”
Epiroc says the DTH 5 hammers allow operators to drill more feet per shift, rebuild hammers up to three times with its E-Kits, and enjoy a lower total cost of ownership.
