Registration for the second Mining Academy, which takes place Oct. 29-31, is now open.
The event will take place at the Seelbach Hilton in Louisville, Kentucky.
The event, co-hosted by both Dyno Nobel and Sandvik Mining & Rock Technology, is an educational seminar focused on the full production stream of unit operations, as well as underground room and pillar limestone aggregate producers. The event includes workshops, lectures, equipment and blast simulators and a field tour.
Mining Academy is modeled after Quarry Academy, which is also hosted by Dyno Nobel and Sandvik.
