What Brokk is showcasing at MINExpo

Equipment solutions from Brokk are being highlighted at this week’s MINExpo International in Las Vegas.

The company is exhibiting in West Hall (Booth 11001) of the Las Vegas Convention Center during the Sept. 24-26 trade show.

“Brokk machines were built to be powerhouses in the demolition industry,” says Jeff Keeling, vice president of sales and marketing at Brokk. “It’s no surprise that the equipment’s benefits of safety and big hitting power in a small footprint translate well to mining operations. Our machines boast leading power for their size while providing unmatched versatility and safety. The ability to complete dangerous work from a distance and avoid many health and safety risks is a clear benefit for any potentially hazardous operation.”

Remote-controlled Brokk machines are either electric- or diesel-powered mobile equipment that provide breaking power. Brokk offers tracked units, ranging from the Brokk 70 and its machine weight of 1,235 pounds to the Brokk 900 at 25,133 pounds.

Brokk machines feature a three-part arm offering reach and stability in underground mining applications such as breaking, digging, drilling and more. With the right attachment, Brokk says operators can move from drilling to breaking to scaling – with the machine never getting within 13.1 ft. of the work surface.

Brokk’s pedestal boom, meanwhile,is a compact, stationary breaker boom system for the mining and aggregate industries.
