MINExpo International 2024 is a wrap.
And while the host National Mining Association has not yet released attendance totals for the once-every-four-years trade show, the attendees and exhibitors P&Q engaged last week expressed enthusiasm about their experience.
Attendance this year was certainly up over the COVID-altered MINExpo of 2021, when 21,000 people from around the world registered to attend. A simple “eye test” made clear MINExpo 2024 attendance was up.
Additionally, more aggregate producers were likely on hand this time around compared to a typical MINExpo. Multiple exhibitors said as much, and more aggregate producers seemingly visited the P&Q booth in the Las Vegas Convention Center’s North Hall than at previous MINExpos.
Those who attended MINExpo had three halls worth of equipment and technology to explore. Themes like digitalization, electrification and sustainability were rampant, with exhibiting companies such as Caterpillar, Komatsu and Sandvik among those to bring concepts to life with real-world solutions.
P&Q’s editors traversed the three-day MINExpo to capture the latest industry news and developments. Keep tabs on the magazine’s dedicated show webpage at pitandquarry.com/minexpo as P&Q continues to unpack the content collected in Las Vegas.
