Micromine has released Micromine 2011, the latest version of its exploration and mine modeling solution. The software enables geologists and engineers to locate prospective regions, search for mineral indicators, model and visualize ore distribution patterns and design mining operations. New features focus on intuitive usability with enhanced workflow methodologies and logical processes, the company says. Productivity gains include faster processing speeds, flexible import and export functions and compatibility with third-party applications.
