The R230 screener from McCloskey can operate as a standalone plant that produces finished product, or as a primary scalping component of some of the largest portable crushing spreads. A 20-ft. x 6-ft. screen box raises at the lower end for easy bottom-deck access, and a longer and wider direct-feed Hardox-lined hopper provides a large loading area. A wide-feed opening allows for the free flow of material and high-volume capacity, and the screener’s chute is designed to minimize potential material spills and blocks. The R230 is powered by a 225-hp, six-cylinder Cat diesel engine. Travel-out walkways requiring no folding or disassembly for transport are another feature.
