Martin Marietta, UNACEM strike a deal

Martin Marietta agreed to sell its cement plant in Tehachapi, California, to UNACEM Corp.

According to Bloomberg, UNACEM manufactures and sells construction materials. The company offers clinker, cement and other construction materials, operating limestone and gypsum quarries.

Based in Peru, UNACEM serves customers around the world.

Martin Marietta expects the deal to close before the end of the year. The deal is subject to regulatory approvals and other closing conditions.

The cement plant sale is valued at $317 million, Martin Marietta says.
