LiuGong appoints chairman, senior chief director

LiuGong Machinery named Kevin Thieneman as chairman of LiuGong North America and senior chief director of Guangxi LiuGong Machinery.

According to the company, Thieneman joins the company with more than 24 years of experience in the construction equipment sector. Prior to this position, he served as president of Caterpillar Forest Products. He has also served in a number of senior leadership roles for Caterpillar in the Asia Pacific region.

In addition, Thieneman was elected chairman of the Georgia Association of Manufacturers, which is associated with the National Association of Manufacturers, the company adds.

“We are excited that Kevin has decided to join our organization,” says Zeng Guang’an, chairman of LiuGong. “He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to LiuGong both in North America and in the global marketplace. As we are committed to continuing to grow our global presence and support our customers, he will be an invaluable asset to this endeavor.”
