LafargeHolcim appoints CFO

Picaud

LafargeHolcim named Géraldine Picaud as its CFO, as well as a member of its executive committee, starting Feb. 1, 2018.

According to the company, its current CFO, Ron Wirahadiraksa, has decided to pursue opportunities outside of the company. However, he will remain in his role and will assist in a smooth transition.

Picaud joins LafargeHolcim from Essilor International, a French ophthalmic optics company. She served as the company’s chief CFO since 2011. Prior to that position, she worked for the ED&F Man in Winterthur, Switzerland, and prior to that position, she spent 13 years as CFO at Safic Alcan, an international specialty chemicals group. Picaud brings to LafargeHolcim 20 years of experience leading and transforming finance teams, the company says.

“I am excited to welcome Géraldine to LafargeHolcim,” says Jan Jenisch, CEO of LafargeHolcim. “She is an agile and successful CFO who has worked in the U.K., U.S., France and Switzerland. With a track record in delivering business results and restructuring within complex global business environments, she is the ideal person to join our executive team and drive the next phase of growth in the company.”

LafargeHolcim is a global building materials and solutions company whose operations produce aggregate, cement and ready-mix concrete.
